A Complete Transformation

Missing multiple teeth or a full arch of teeth can bring about an array of cosmetic and functional concerns that may leave you feeling self-conscious, unwilling to smile … and possibly even unable to enjoy meals! It may be hard to imagine yourself with a smile that’s beautiful and healthy, but there is a way. With our full mouth dental implants, it’s possible to create that captivating smile you’ve always longed for. At Palani Center for Dental Implants, our All-on-4® process can give you a full arch of beautiful and functional teeth, and in just one visit!

A full arch of failing teeth can lead to a decline in health, loss of jaw bone, and even increased difficulty with speaking and eating. While traditional dentures do a reasonable job of improving your smile esthetics and giving you back some daily functions, they do not compare to the permanent look and feel of our full mouth dental implants. Our implants will not only result in a new set of teeth that will restore your confidence and allow you to smile effortlessly, they will also improve your quality of life by preventing bone deterioration, restoring your facial features, and allowing you to experience all your favorite food and drinks. Using Nobel Biocare™ Trefoil™ implant technology, this full mouth rejuvenation can be done in one easy appointment here at our office.

We can help put an end to your painful and discouraging symptoms with full mouth solutions that fit your lifestyle, smile goals, and budget!

Sedation Dentistry

We offer four different types of sedation to ensure you are comfortable and relaxed throughout your procedure:
A moderate sedation that involves the use of medication taken approximately an hour before your procedure. It takes about 30 minutes for the medication to take effect, although the exact time depends on many factors. Once it takes effect, you will feel drowsy and relaxed.
Commonly known as “laughing gas,” nitrous oxide is a minimal sedation that is inhaled. A mask is placed over your nose and you breathe in a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen, which puts you in a relaxed state.
Instead of a pill, this moderate sedative is administered directly into your bloodstream through a needle. The medication goes to work within seconds, making you feel drowsy and relaxed.
ight sedation that is taken by mouth to help you to relax without a mask on your face.
oral sedation

There are many reasons why our patients choose to do sedation, including:

If you feel sedation is the route for you, we encourage you to keep an open line of communication with Dr. Palani, so we can ensure a comfortable and safe visit.

Our Smile Transformation Timeline

The following timeline is what to expect on the day of your full-mouth procedure. This example includes estimated times for a procedure that involves a single arch. The timeline may be extended by 90 minutes if you receive a bridge for both arches. It may also be reduced by 90 minutes for patients already wearing a complete denture. Regardless of your circumstance, Palani Center for Dental Implants is committed to providing quick, efficient and safe services for patients in need of a full mouth restoration.

7:00 AM

When you arrive, you will be greeted by our friendly and helpful staff, as well as Dr. Palani. Make sure you’ve had a good night’s sleep the night before your procedure, as it will likely begin very early in the day. Dr. Palani will review with you what will take place during your procedure, one final time, as well as what to expect afterward.

7:15 AM

You will be brought into a special room for sedation and anesthesia. Our anesthesia specialist will administer a sedative that will put you into a deep, relaxed state of sleep. We will connect you to our monitors in order to observe your vital signs, including your heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure, to ensure your safety and reduce any risk of complications.

Before After
We will begin your procedure. Dr. Palani will prepare your mouth by removing any remaining teeth and making four small incisions into the gum tissue. Small holes will be drilled into the jawbone at specific angles in order to support the posts, which will serve as root components for your prosthesis.

10:30 AM

Once the implants are in place, we can finish the surgical phase of the procedure. Dr. Palani will clean the surgical sites and suture the incisions. Around 10:30 AM, we will cease general anesthesia and wait for the effects of sedation to wear off.

10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

For the next two and a half hours, you will rest and wait for your new temporary restoration to be made in our state-of-the-art in-house laboratory. You will wear this temporary restoration for a few months, to give your implants time to heal. Also during this time, the implants and your jaw bone will fuse together through a process called osseointegration. Once osseointegration is complete, the implants will be strong enough to support your final restoration.

1:00 PM

The entire process should be completed around 1:00 PM. At this time, we will load the temporary restoration and give you your new smile for the first time! We will then review instructions and follow-up care to ensure a smooth healing process.
